 Welcome to the Fradswell village website! The aim of this website is to bring the community of Fradswell together and promote use of the Village Hall and the Parish Field.  June Jubilee Celebration! Monday 4th June from 3pm FREE ENTRY TO ALL! Following on from the Sunday Jubilee Celebration at Fradswell Church, we extend our Community Celebrations. Lets go back to 1952, when there was almost certainly a Coronation event held in this same hall. We'll enjoy a buffet tea, English country dancing and hopefully a real fun event for the whole family. Bring your own drinks and glasses. If you have any old photos of the hall in 1952, bring them along and we'll put them on display. If you've any old photos of yourselves in the hall in 1952 - you'll get a special free drink and will be our guests of honour! We want this to be a celebration for everyone, so come and join the party! It will cost you nothing! No tickets required - just come along!  Next One Fashion Show - Wednesday 6th June Village Hall 8pm Try on & buy branded items! Come and bag fantastic bargains from Next, Wallis, Monsoon, M+S and many other high street names-enjoy a drink or two,nibbles and a fab girly night. Tickets £3 from Committee members or on the door.  Fradswell Village Fete Saturday 16th June On the parish Field and its going to be a fantastic day. Fete Opens 1.30 Main Ring Events start 2pm The Fete will include: 'Scruffs' Fun Dog Show Ice Creams & Sweetie Stall Community Bakehouse Marquee Toy & Bric-a-brac stall Books, Plants & Tombola Splat the rat & Egg Catching Hook a duck & Penalty shoot out Strawberries & Cream Interesting Vehicles Treasure hunt on the Field St Johns Ambulance Country Bar - Ales, wine & Pimms Skittles & Play your Cards Right! Freshly made Teas & Coffees Main Ring: 2- 2.45pm: Parish Field Treasure Hunt Teams of 2 or 3. Entry £1 per team. For safety - all activity will take place on Field. 3 - 4pm: 'Scruffs' Fun Dog Show Entry £1 per class. Classes: ~ Waggiest Tail ~ Oddest Couple ~ Most handsome/prettiest dog (not owner!) ~ Best Trick ~ Musical Chairs Dogs (& owners!) under control & on leads at all times please. Judges decision final! In the Marquee: Fradswell Community Bakehouse & Craft Shop: selling delicious fresh bread & cakes, savouries, scones, tea & coffee plus wonderful locally made crafts Fradswell Church: selling scrumptious strawberries & cream Fradswell Country Bar: selling Ales Wines Pimms and soft drinks Treat yourself to afternoon tea in the Marquee ...all local produce! Entrance to the Fradswell Village Fete is free. We need interesting vehicles! Bring yours along and park up anytime before 1pm on the day. As so much prep and hard work goes into your Village Fete, we intend to go ahead with it unless weather absolutely dire! We would really appreciate your support, even if its overcast and windy!
